VPS Hosting
Your own server, without the pager.
On shared hosting you share a machine with strangers, and on a bad afternoon one of them is the reason your checkout is slow. A VPS gives you cores and memory that are reserved for you, a dedicated IP address, and root if you want it. We'll run it for you or hand you the keys — but somebody has to patch it, and that decision should be made deliberately.
We are not VAT registered, so no VAT is added. Prices are for a managed server; unmanaged is priced lower — ask. A cPanel or WHM licence, if you want one, is billed on top.

Full SSH access, your own stack, your own package versions. Install what you like — it's your machine, not a slice of a control panel.
Managed Or Unmanaged
We patch, monitor, back up and answer the phone. Or we build it, hand it over and stay out of the way. Both are fine; the halfway house isn't.
Snapshots And Backups
Off-site backups daily, plus full snapshots before any significant change, so a migration or an upgrade has a way back.
Resized In Place
More cores or memory applied to the same server with a short reboot. No rebuild, no migration, no new IP address to explain to anyone.
Dedicated IP And Firewall
Your own address and a firewall configured to it — which also means your mail reputation is yours rather than inherited from a neighbour.

Reserved CPU, memory and storage on your own virtual server — managed by us, or handed over with root.
Most businesses do not need a VPS, and we'd rather say so than sell one. The moment it stops being an indulgence is fairly clear: a store where checkout slows at month end, a set of client sites competing for the same memory, an application that needs a package the shared server won't run. Any of those, and the extra few hundred rand pays for itself the first time it doesn't go down.
When a VPS is the right call
- A WooCommerce or Magento store with real order volume
- An agency or business running several sites off one box
- Node, Python or Docker workloads shared hosting won't run
- A staging and production pair on matching infrastructure
- Internal line-of-business apps behind a firewall rule
- Anything with a compliance requirement about who else is on the machine
- Mail-heavy setups that need their own sending reputation

Switching hosts sounds like a big job. It usually isn't — we do the moving.
Managed or unmanaged — which do I want?
If nobody on your team is comfortable applying a kernel patch at short notice, managed. An unmanaged server is genuinely cheaper and genuinely yours, but an unpatched one is a liability rather than a saving.
Do I actually need a VPS?
Probably not, and we'll tell you if that's the answer. The honest test is whether shared hosting is currently causing you a problem you can name. If it isn't, the Business or Managed plan is the better spend.
What operating system and control panel?
Ubuntu LTS or AlmaLinux, set up and hardened by us. cPanel and WHM are available if you want the familiar interface, licensed on top of the plan — plenty of servers run perfectly well without one.
Can you move my existing sites onto it?
Yes, and it's included. We build the server, migrate the sites and mailboxes, test everything on a temporary address and cut the DNS over out of hours. The old host stays live until you've signed it off.
Who is responsible when something goes wrong?
On a managed server, we are — monitoring alerts us, and platform faults are ours to fix at any hour. On an unmanaged one the operating system and everything above it is yours, and we'll still help on an hourly basis if you ask.
What if I outgrow it?
You resize it. More cores and memory go onto the same server with a short reboot, usually scheduled for the evening. A move to dedicated hardware only comes up well past the top plan here.
