Website Care Plan
Someone responsible for your website.
Updates applied and then checked, backups taken and tested, security watched, speed measured — and development time every month for the changes that keep getting put off. One number, no quote to approve for small jobs, and a developer who already knows your site before something goes wrong.

What You Get
The parts that decide whether it works.
Updates, Applied And Checked
WordPress core, plugins and themes updated on a schedule and then looked at. The check afterwards is the point, and it is the step that gets skipped.
Backups You Could Actually Restore
Daily off-site copies of the site and its database, kept for thirty days, and restored to a test address periodically so we know they work.
Watched For Trouble
Malware and file-change scanning, login hardening, and an alert when the site goes down — usually before you hear about it from a customer.
Development Time Every Month
Two hours a month of real development, rolled into the fee. A new page, a price change, an extra form field, a section rewritten — asked for and done, with no quote each time.
Speed Kept Honest
Load times measured every month against the same pages, so a slow creep is caught while it is still a fix rather than a rebuild.
A Developer Who Knows Your Site
Priority support from the people who maintain it, by phone, email or WhatsApp. Not a ticket queue, and not a first-line script.
What lands in your hands
WordPress and plugin updates, backups, security, monitoring and monthly development time — a developer on hand, not a hosting plan.
The reason most small business websites break is that nobody is looking after them: plugins go a year without an update, the backup nobody ever tested turns out not to exist, and the one person who knew how to change the prices has left. This is the standing arrangement that prevents all of that, plus development time each month for the changes you have been meaning to make. It is not hosting — you can be on our servers or somebody else's. It is somebody being responsible for the site.

Questions
Before you commit.
Is this hosting?
No, and the distinction matters. Hosting is the server your site sits on. This is somebody looking after what runs on it — updates, backups, security, speed and the changes you ask for. You can be on our hosting or on somebody else's; the plan works either way and costs the same.
What counts as development time?
Two hours a month of real work: a new page, price or product changes, an extra form field, a section rewritten, a plugin swapped for one that is still maintained. You ask and we do it, with no quote to approve first. Anything larger is quoted separately, and the month's hours come off it.
Do unused hours roll over?
No. They are capacity we hold for you rather than credit you have bought, which is what makes it possible to do a job the day you ask. Most months use some and not all; in a month where something bigger comes up, we quote the overflow at our normal rate rather than turning it down.
Can I cancel?
Yes, on one calendar month's notice, and you leave with everything — the site, the domain, the backups and the logins, all in your own name. There is no lock-in period, and nothing about the site depends on us staying involved.
What if the site goes down at ten at night?
Monitoring alerts us and not only you, so we usually know first. Out of hours we will get a site that is fully down back up. Anything that is not an outage waits for the next business day — we would rather say that plainly than publish a 24/7 promise we cannot staff.
Does this work if my site is not WordPress?
Yes, at the same price. The updates look different on a Next.js or custom-built site — dependencies and deployments rather than plugins — but the backups, monitoring, security and monthly development time are identical. The only thing we will not take on is a platform we cannot get real logins for.
